Gangways (Type A, B & C)

• METAFORM manufactures aluminum gangways that provide a safe link between the ship and the shore.
• We have standard types in our range; you can find their specifications in the scheme below. However, it is also possible to have a gangway custom-built for you, exactly according to the specifications you request.
  • Type A (one body)
  • Type B (two body)
  • Type C (Extension)
• All METAFORM gangways are standard equipped with:
  • Aluminum non-slip walking surface
  • Cross ridges for foot support
  • Clear width 0.60 meter between the rope-railings
  • 4 hoisting points to facilitate horizontal lifting by means of rigging
  • Removable aluminum stanchions, complete with double rope-eye for rope-railing and protection lines
  • 2 nylon wheels for the quay-side and 2 railing hooks and 2 lashing eyes for the ship-side
  • Maximum angle of usage: 30 degrees
• Options: other length or width, extra set of wheels, rigging for horizontal lifting, fixed hand railing, safety nets, etc
